i just want to ask, what steps do i take to bring my rpms past redline, my car has alot of power bottem end but in top end there isnt enough rpms to really put it to its full potential, and my car redlines at 6.5k rpm..

Depends on a lot of things here. sounds like your turbo setup is small and boosts up fairly early. If this is the case there is no need to rev harder as you are already reaching peak power at an early stage. With a larger (trim) turbo, it will spool up later in the RPM range and therefore react better to higher RPM.
There is definitely a cool factor in strangling a cars neck though.
you said that it redlines at 6.5k, what is the rev limiter set at? that is where you physically not be able to rev it past unless you start further modifications (adjustable RPM limiters etc)
then you can go whole hog and balance\blue print the engine, upgrade pistons,Conrods, Valves and Springs etc so you can rev to 10K +. this would require a different trim Turbo to make the most of.
You really need to think about a realistic power figure and your drivabiliy requirements of the car, and then plan how is the best way to achieve it. ie more RPM, Boost, or Larger Capacity\Turbo.
Hope this helps dudette
